Bruggy as the most romantic town in Belgium

Ciao a tutti,
Bruggy is one of the most romantic places I´ve visited. They say it´s like a Venice in Italy. Before you come here, you should watch the movie In Bruges. I did, with my friends in Belgium. I fall asleep for few minutes as usual but I got the point.

A few facts:
- they say it´s the most beautiful town in Belgium
- very romantic place
- capital of the province of West Flanders
- so called Venice of the North
- boat tour
- more than 100 000 inhabitants + a huge number of tourists
- historical centre-UNESCO
- you will find here alleged drops of Christ´s blood
- movie In Bruges

We are entering into the city.

Burg square.

Basiliek van hetHeiligBloed- you can see the Christ´s blood inside.

Belfort. 83 meters high. 366 stairs up to tower. If you wanna buy tickets and climb up, prepare yourself, because they let you wait for it. However the views are worth it.

Grote Markt- main square. One of the most beautiful squares I´ve seen.

Everyday we are eating waffles.

I highly recommend you boat tour.

Across the street I´ve bought 12 postcards with stamps and paid "only" 15 euros. However, my friends in Taiwan really appreciate the gesture. And I´m happy if you guys are happy.

I find out that I don´t like marzipan so much.

Minnewater.

Coffee time. Actually, this place wasn´t our first choice (it was mine, but Matus wanted to try another one). After 20 minutes of waiting and very unplesant stuff we left who totally ignored us, we left. This new place on the picture was amazing.

Bruggy is a very romantic place and probably the most beautiful town in Belgium. So, don´t hesitate to come here one day.

Ghent as the historical town dominated by massive walls

Hi guys,
all of my friends in Belgium recommended us to visit Ghent. I´m very glad we did because it´s definitely one of the most beautiful cities in this coutry. And there are not so many tourists, so you can enjoy the atmosphere.

A few facts:
- municipality in the Flemish Region of Belgium
- city centre is dominated by massive walls
- castle Gravensteen
- three towers of Ghent, namely the Belfry, St Bavo's Cathedral and the church of St. Nicholas
- water canals

First panorama.

Breathtaking.

Although I´m smiling (just for the picture) this was the most expensive waffle I´ve eaten in Belgium. If I knew before that the lady who was working there would be so rude to me, I would never buy it! I would go to different place and let somebody else to earn money for waffle.

Typical sweets.

I promised Matus that in Belgium we will definitely go to some brewery even if I don´t like beer. So, we found one in Ghent. We were sitting at the table for like 10 minutes and then somebody told us that it´s closing time for today so we can´t order anything. Yes, we were lucky. I think it was around 3-4 pm. Never mind.

So, instead of beer we are drinking a coffe somewhere else. From my own experience, I didn´t like Cafe Late that much in Belgium.

And that´s the end of our trip. Ghent is one of the places, you can´t miss if you visit Belgium.

Antwerp as the second biggest city in Belgium

Hello my friends,
following article is about my favourit town-Antwerp. Jonathan and Cinthia, my dear friends from Erasmus are living currently here. I must say, that this city really suprised me. In a good way, of course. Antwerp is full of beautiful monuments, flowers, ships and nice people. I have only good memories about Antwerp and I´m so grateful I had this chance to come here. First, to see this beautiful town and second, to visit my Erasmus friends.

If you have a time you should:
- rent a bike
- boat tour
- zoo
- museum: diamonds, Rubens
-shopping

A few facts
- second biggest city in Belgium
- Europe's second largest port
- more than 500 000 inhabitants
- so called Rubens city,  a Flemish painter Peter Paul Rubens lived here
- diamond city, you can see the most beautiful diamons in museums
- railway station-one of the most beautiful in Europe

A few pictures from Antwerp.

Grote Markt- main square.

Such as coincidence. They only opened it recently. I discovered this Japanese brand in Taiwan and I can highly recommend it to you.

You can notice my Massimo Dutti bag.

Museum MAS. You can go for fee at the top of the building to see thw whole city. Check these stunning views below.

During our stay in Antwerp, some famous rate among boats from all around the world just started.

Jonathan from Belgium & Cinthia from Brazil & Misa from the Czech Republic & Matus from Slovakia.

And that would be all. So, how do you like it? If you ever come to Belgium guys, please make a stop in Antwerp. I guarantee, it´s worth it. For me visiting Antwerp was for instance more interesting than visiting Brussels where usually people go. Yes, Antwerp became one of my favourite places in Belgium.
