Richmond as the capital of Virginia

Hi guys.
Few days ago I went with my friends to Richmond. This city is also a capital of state Virginia and it is very close to the place where I am currently living- Doswell.

This is our group- David from Ecuador, Jasmine from Taiwan, Bohunka and Kristyna from Prague.

Let' s have a look at Richmond. It' s considered as the 9th the most dangerous city in the U.S. Well, the truth is that almost everyone was looking at us because there are mostly black people. However I would say that during the day it's more or less safe. On the other hand during the night you should be careful where you are going.

Do you like to sing? We saw Americal Idol casting. No, I didn't go there. However I was singing karaoke in Kings Dominion once.

Yes, this is all Richmond. I recommend you to visit this city because as you can see from the photos it's quite nice. There are also lots of museums but I didn't have time to go there so far.

My lunch in some Irish restaurant. I paid like 18 dollars and even didn't like it. It should be something with shrimps. Never again.

A trip to the outlet mall in Williamsburg

Hi guys.
I am very happy because last two days I spent with my friend Vendula from the Czech Republic who is working in Baltimore. She came to visit me in Richmond. Yesterday we went to some local club and today our plan was shopping as you can see on the photos below.
There is a huge outlet mall in city called Williamsburg. It takes one hour by bus so it's quite close. The ticket costs around 12 dollars.

This is how it looks like there.

Basically every brand is placed in some small house. That' s why it seems so huge, you have to walk a little bit.

Michal Kors is cheaper here than in Europe but still quite expensive, I think. I like some handbags but the prices are around 200 dollars so I am nor sure if I buy it, maybe one day...

When I go shopping it's always the same. I spend a lot of money but it's worth it.

Hello everyone.
Yesterday I went to Washington with my friends. It' s very close-only 2 hours by bus from Richmond. Here you can see what was it like. If you ever go to the eastern part of the U.S. I definitely recommend you to visit the capital. You probably need more than one day because there are so many things to do...

Atlantic City- casino, beach and shopping

Hi guys.
What' s up? On Tuesday I went on a trip to Atlantic city. It' s located in the state New Jersey. I've heard about this place mostly from American' s movies. Why is it so special?

There are basically three important things which you should do in Atlantic City.
1. go to the casino- gambling
2. go to the beach
3. shopping

This is how it looks like there. I like just to walk so for me this is the perfect place.

There are very nice colorful houses. It' s seems to me so American, can't help myself.

The Borgata is the highest hotel, casino and spa. All in one building.

It' s time for gambling. Actually on Tuesday I won 17 dollars there and my friend from Taiwan is even better than me- 60 dollars. 

And shopping, of course. There is a huge outlet. You will see what I've bought some other time.
