Sunday in Vienna

Hi guys,
as you probably know, one of my friends (roommate) from Kings Dominion comes from Vienna. In May I went to see her because Amy arrived to Europe. We promised that we will meet again this summer. And that´s exactly what we did.

A story: Every time I go to Vienna, there is some event in front of City Hall (I have been there 3 times) so I will never get nice photos :-( Also, we had to wait about 30 min. to get inside Sacher Hotel. In the radio, they were saying that the weather will be so bad, that you should rather stay on the sofa for the whole day. At the end, it was sunny and a big rain 1 hour before we left. I love pictures before the storm is coming. It´s the best.

A few facts about this trip:
- visiting Schonbrunn, this is MUST, I recommend you to take headphones- it is translated even to Czech language
- breakfast in typical Vienna´s Cafe
- visiting Prater- amusement park
- Hudertwasser House-colorful house and very unique
-  eating one of the best gelato - Veganista
- eating Sacher Cake in famous Sacher hotel

A few photos:

I usually don´t eat Sacher cake (almost never). But when I´m in Vienna, of course I will.

Kokořín Castle as a centre of Kokořín Area

I would say that I have never been to Kokorin Area before. Maybe, when I was a little but I don´t remember that anyway. My stepfather was taking me and my brother to visit some castles or chateaus almost every weekend, as I remember. It felt like it was forever. To be honest, I didn´t like these kind of trips that much. We always had to listen the history and stories, we didn´t care. Now, after like 20 years, I would really appreciate these family trips.

A story: I went to Kokorin area with one of my friends. There was a kind of cave in the rock, totally dark inside. I had to convince my friend to come inside with me (I never know how to use a flashlight on my mobile phone, so I would basically go there and see nothing). I would stay there over the night with my sleeping bag if it was raining outside or something. I consider it as a good idea. My friend, on the other hand, thinks that I´m not normal. It is a dark place, scary, full of mouses :-)

A few facts:
- castle
- rocks
- 40 km from Prague
- protected landscape area

My weekends in Děčín city

Hi guys,
why do I go to Decin city sometimes? Well, that´s simply. My University friend Ala (also member of Tatra team) is still living there and my other Uni friend Kata comes from there. This year I have been there twice. First time because of the music festival and for the second time for making trips around.

A story: During friday night, it was raining as hell. Even under the umbrella which I didn´t have you would be so much wet. My friend Ala borrowed me some of her clothes and we went to see Majkl Spirit and after that disco club (yes, dressed up like... you can imagine). The price of tickets was so cheap and you could see so many people standing on the bridge and listening the festival for free.

A few facts about this trip:
- the music festival called Labefest
- the ticket for the festival cost like 250 czk for 2 days, maybe even less
- Atmo, Vojtech Dyk, Majk Spirit...
- popular Mexican restaurant
- visiting chateau
- new cafe: Coffee & Books

A few pictures:

That´s it. I think that I will come back to Decin city soon. After all, when you have a place to stay and friends who will make trips with you, then it is done :-)
