One day in Jizera Mountains - Oresnik + Frydlant Cimburi Mountain

Sometimes my friend ala from Decin comes to Liberec for a weekend. We always plan some hiking and we usually go to Jizera Mountains because it is really close to Liberec. Ala has also bucket list and it happened that Oresnik rock is there. Our starting point was Hejnice and in total it is about 15 km trip to come back.

I have been to Frydlant Cimburi Mountain before. It is quite close to Oresnik. You can read my winter acticle here: https://michaelapeskova.blogspot.com/2016/12/trip-to-jizera-mountains-frydlant.html

Trip to Bramberk
Sad new. For some reason, I have lost all my photos from this trip. It was deleted from my camera. There was one very particular I liked. I am doing a pose and it seems like in Pisa, Italy. We walked from Jablonec dam to Bramber and back. Total is 11 km.

Cesky Krumlov - Unesco trip with my friends from Taiwan

Usually when tourists visit Czech Republic they know Prague and most likely also Cesky Krumlov. The historical centre is on Unesco list. First time I visited this place was 3 years ago during canoeing trip. You can read the article here: https://michaelapeskova.blogspot.com/2015/10/cesky-krumlov-as-second-most-visited.html

I was trying to put here photos you haven´t seen before. I finally visited castle. We were less than 10 people on the Czech Tour and the only Czech tourists in town. I think all Czechs should visit this place at least once. I have been there twice but it is enough. The place is small and I saw basically everything during one day.

This is very rare picture. I never buy trdelnik. On the other hand my friends from abroad they always do. So, this one is theirs.

With my Taiwanese friends.

I know few words in Chinese - "ny hau" it means hello. I don´t know how to say goodbye so "ny hau" again.

Trip to Chateau Breznice + Equitana

There are so many chateaus and castles in the Czech Republic. To be honest I didn´t know Chateau Breznice before. One of my colleagues suggested to visit this place during our teambuilding. There is the oldest chateau´s library in Czech. It takes about 1 hour by car from Prague.

Local church in Breznice.

I love Czech nature.

Did you know that I am a little bit afraid of horses? When I was a child, I was standing next to my friend and the horse slapped her foot. So, ever since I am trying to be careful. But we are real friends with this one. His name is Otakar. Do you like riding a horse?

Dear friends,
I am just looking at my diary and guess what? My next visit in Liberec will be in the middle of October! It´s crazy. How is that possible that I have already so many plans?

So, let me tell you how I spend weekends when I have the chance to visit my lovely hometown. I usually go there when there is some event I want to attend and in the middle of October it is my birthday :-)

The main square - local art + dancing in the summer.

I love this view.

Exploring neighbourhood - church in Ruprechtice area.

Travelling in Liberec with my friend Jasmine from Taiwan. First stop - Jested.

Second stop - the dam.

A trip by one of our historical car.

Shopping in Zittau, Germany. This little town is 30 minutes by car from Liberec.

Museum night in Liberec. Frst stop - the Technical museum.

The exhibition of Rolls Royce historical cars made by our friend Slavek.

The museum of historical cars in Vratislavice nad Nisou.

Museums in Jablonec nad Nisou.

Exploring cafes - bistro Siroka - my favourite meal for breakfast - eggs Benedict.

The best ice cream in town.

Food festival.

Liberec chateau was open - very special occasion.

Riding my bike.

Inline skating.

The night in Macha Lake - fasmous disco club Bily kamen (1 hour of driving from Liberec). Basically all the men I have met, were from Prague.

The time I spend in Liberec is very valuable for me. I am so happy that my friend Jasmine visited me there few months ago. I always bring my friends from abroad to my hometown.

And my message at the end? "When the time is right we will meet again"
