Long weekend in Vienna

Hello my friends,
as you might know I have spent a long weekend in Vienna with my friends. Reason? Amy, one of my best friends who come from Taiwan, was visiting Europe. Her first stop was Austria. Marlene, who was my roommate in the US is living in Vienna and she was hosted us. We really had a great time there and we couldn´t wish for a better weather. In the Czech Republic it was raining!

A few facts about my trip:
- date: 28.4. - 1.5.
- bus Student Agency from Prague to Vienna, it takes around 4,5 h.
- bus ticket: 1 way= 380 kc
- total expenses: around 3 000 CZK
- reunion from the U.S.

So, how was the capital of Austria?

It´s just incredible how the time flies. I´ve been to Vienna twice (so far). I´m planning another visit this summer. (hopefully).

February 2011. My first time in Vienna.
April 2017. My second time in Vienna.
Schonbrunn.

If you get out at metro Handelskai, there is a very nice walk with dogs for instance.

Stadtpark. Majlo comes from Slovakia and I think he really likes (Marlene said he doesn´t like many people). In Liberec I have 2 cast, as you might know. But I have to admit that me and my brother, always wanted a dog. So now, I want to have both one day.

There were some special events in the city. And as you can see, I´m always lucky about  the scaffolding on some monuments.

Karlsplatz.

Finally together after 1 year and half.

The opera.

St. Stephen´s cathedral.

The view from the cathedral (south tower). You have to climb 343 stairs, right, Amy? :-)

Belvedere and around.

Wienerwald. The Forest of Vienna.

We were trying to do BBQ.

I just love Vapiano. Everytime I have a chance, I go there.

I also highly recommend this iced tea.

Time for a breakfast in some typical Cafe in Vienna. Every cafe has some particular atmosphere and magic. Generally, the interiors are beautiful!

And that´s all from Vienna. I´m very lucky to have a local friend there and already looking forward to my next visit.

Regards
Misa
