Aachen in Germany & outlet in Belgium & welcome party

Hi guys,
during following weeks I want to write and tell you everything about our holiday in Belgium. I know that I´m still missing 2 articles from Taiwan (Taipei and food), please forgive me. Really, shame one me. But I´m so busy that it just takes me so long to publish articles.

Anyway, at the beginning of July me and Matus went for a holiday to Belgium. Why Belgium? Every year I´m trying to realize some Erasmus reunion. And this year finally I´ve found time to visit Jonathan and Cinthia (my flatmates from Lisbon who visited me during Christmas time 1,5 year ago, do you remember?).

At the beginning I would just say that Belgium as a holiday destinaton is according to me one of the best in Europe. It´s definitely worth for a visit.

Aachen in Germany.
This was our first stop on the way to Belgium. A friend of mine recommended me to visit spa town Aachen. From my experience it´s very nice. I only regret that we didn´t have more time to explore it. It was already getting dark so I also don´t have many pictures. I´ve seen few cities in Germany because we live quite close and I would say that this place is one of the most beautiful.

Outlet in Belgium
Ok, so here is the thing. I don´t like shopping in the Czech Republic so much. I love shopping abroad. So, when I travel, I always do shopping too. And if we have a car? It´s double win.

On Saturday morning we made a stop in Maasmechelen village. I can honestly say that this is one of the best outlets I have ever been to. Highly recommend you this place.

First time I was shopping in Furla and Twin-set. The most I love Italian brands.

Actually my boyfriend bought more pieces of clothes than me! We were shopping: Guess, Furla, Twin-set, Marco Polo, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.

Welcome party
While we arrived, there was a party in the house. I´d like to think that it was a welcome party :-) I saw some of Jonathan´s friends who went to visit him during Erasmus. I recognized them all and they recognized me too :-)

Barbecue.

Jonathan and Cinthia know that I don´t like beer. So, they bought me this and suprisingly it´s acceptable for me. I like it.

We were also watching football. Do you see the cat? I totally forgot that Jonathan and Cinthia has a cat. My boyfriend is allergic to them (Yes, I´ve got 3 in Liberec). 

So, this is how our holiday started. Do you wanna know what else happened in Belgium and what are the best places to visit? For sure I will write about it.

Summer weddings 2016

Hello my friends,
first of all, not my wedding. One of the biggest stories on my blog is this one and that´s because I beg you guys thought that it´s about my wedding: http://michaelapeskova.blogspot.cz/2014/02/prague-and-wedding-dress.html

Anyway, this year I attended 2 weddings. Generally, I like weddings. I think it´s always a big party. I´ve noticed that I´m getting older because I have to really hold my tears back. It´s always such an emotional event, am I right?

Kata & Jirka wedding
The wedding ceremony took a place in Chateau Novy Falkenburk (close to Liberec). I think it´s quite popular because another friend of mine is getting married there this September.

And this is my outfit, ladies and gentlemen. I spent more than one hour choosing my dress in Prague (just in case I took 2 of them). Then I came to Liberec and after 5 min. talks to my mum I was ready. I´m wearing dress which I permanently have in my closet in Liberec.

Watching a presentation consist of photos and videos. Mine was the longest one. That´s probably because I know Kata and also Jirka since we were kids. Kata and I practised judo together.

Wedding cake.

I´m very happy that I didn´t miss this wedding. I was invited to attend 2 weddings about 2 years ago. That time I was working in the U.S. So, unfortunately I couldn´t be there. Would you believe that at the end these 2 weddings happened in the same day? So, I would have to split myself somehow. I promised to my friend Zuzka that if I can´t be her maid of honor at least I will be around when she will have her first child and guess what? It happened few days ago. I´m so happy for you.

Mirka & Tikej wedding
This was the first time I was attending a wedding in Slovakia. I mean, part of my family comes from Slovakia but I never had a chance to see a wedding there. So, I was truly honored. My boyfriend´s cousin was getting married.

The wedding ceremony took a place in Basta Pajstun, close to Bratislava.

I was choosing my outfit again for more than one hour and I already knew what dress I wanna wear, would you believe it? Anyway, how do you like my new dress from Taiwan? The brand is Japanese and called H2O.

I was really eating a lot. The biggest difference in terms of food is I would say the main course. In the Czech Republic you usually eat during thie occasion dumplings with sauce called Svickova. In this wedding we were eating a chicken wrapped in ham, potatoes and green beans.

These sweets were really delicious. All of them are home made.

And that´s all. I´ve got one more invitation for wedding in September but I´m not sure if I can make it. Anyway, I´m already very curious how many invitations I will get next year, if any :-) But I do have my tips. So, who is gonna be next?

My June 2016

Ciao ragazzi,
I´m already very excited about my trip to Italy this year. Yes, I´m going there. Again. This is gonna be the first time I´m going to region Calabria which is located in South of Italy.

Anyway, let me tell you how was my June this year. I went to Liberec 3 times. So, proud of myself :-)

First weekend in Liberec
Do you remember my friend´s bachelor party? That´s the reason I went to Liberec.

Also, few baby parrots were born at my house.

One of my closest friends was getting married.

Weekend in Brno

I´ve got tickets for kind of festival of Spilberk castle in Brno.

In Prague it took me more than 1 hour to choose appropriate outfit. First of all there is a dresscode. And second it was supposed be raining.

There was even a fireworks.

My last weekend in Liberec
In Liberec I live very close to football stadium. The place around is perfect for jogging, riding a bike or inline skating. This time I´ve decided for inline skating which I really love.

On friday night I attended judo event which was like a celebration of ending this season before summer break. I have to admit that I really miss judo. I think that if I lived in Liberec I would definitely practise judo again. I hope that in the future I will find a time to do it.

My free time in Prague
Do you guys know this game? I had a chance to play it with my flatmates. It´s a good game I think, but I don´t get it :-)

Shopping
How do you like my new handbag by Italian brand Gaudi? I´m really missing these colours in my closet.

I love summer sales! My new jacket by H&M. Cost me only 400 CZK.

Italian dinner
Me and my friend Petra (we know each other from Erasmus in Barcelona) are trying at least once per month to eat a dinner together. This time we´ve chosen Aromi restaurant. Next week we are starting to plan our trip to Italy.

After dinner walk in Prague. It´s quite funny. I´ve bought these pants but they are only matching with one shirt in my whole closet.

Me and my another friend Kata are also trying to meet on a regular basis. We always discover new Cafe in Prague.

Lunch with my colleagues
I sometimes go for a lunch with my colleague Klara to the restaurant called T-Anker where you can see this amazing view.

Coach
My close friends Bohunka and Tyna are spending summer in the U.S. again and guess what? They promised me to buy something by Coach. So, I´m taking this picture basically for them to see what I´ve already bought. I´m so excited. I love this brand but it´s so expensive in Europe.
