My last stop: New York City

Ok, so this is my last article from the U.S. because I am leaving tomorrow after almost 4 months.
This time I am living in part of NY called Queens. Why not Manhattan? Because it was very cheap. Basically mostly immigrants live here. Anyway, I like this place so it's ok.

The view from my window.

Flushing, Queens- better than Chinatown. It's also very safe here.

The story with subway. Since I was a little kid I am afraid of riding the subway in big cities. Mainly New York City and London. Like I said, since I was a kid. I am always worried about terrorist attack. Yesterday when I arrived I also read an article about Islamists planning this kind of attack in New York City and Paris. Lucky me. Today you could see cops everywhere, inside every metro station. Even in Queens there were 3 cops.

my metro station in Queens
I have decided to visit The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The entrance today for students was to pay as much as you want.

My favourite section is Egypt, of course.

It is so huge. I spent there only few hours but you could be there for days.

These artists are my favourite.
by Salvador Dali
by Joan Miro

Of course I had to try famous NYC hotdog.

Times Square was my last stop. Sitting on these red stairs and watching everything around is just amazing. I love this place that's why I came back. Today I met there some singer who even gave me his business card. Before that I met some local celebrity from Big Brother or something. Of course I didn't know this guy but around him there were plenty of people screaming that he is from the Brother.
So, that's it, America. It was really nice to meeting you. I guess, see you later?

If you're going to San Francisco...

If you're going to San Francisco...Do you know this song? On the way to San Francisco I kept playing it in my head.
So, why is it so special? Let's see how it works here.

Most of the things are translated into 3 languages- English, Chinese and Spanish. There are really a lot of immigrants as well as sports people. Finally a place where people are not lazy.

Golden Gate park- first day was a bit cold.

Typical houses.

Hills- another very typical thing for SF. Prepare your breath here.

Chinatown in SF is the largest chinatown outside of Asia.

Alcatraz- used to be a prison.

Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39.
In this area you can even see sea lions and I've seen one.

The bridge.

Financial district.

Transamerica Pyramid is the tallest building in SF.

Union square.

Lombard street is the crookedest street in the world.

Cable Car.

Golden Gate Bridge.
This is just amazing.
Twin Peaks.
My very last day here. The best views of San Francisco.

Now I am going to New York City. After that I am going back to the Czech Republic because my University will start.
See you later.

Sacramento as the capital of California

Hi guys.
Last night I arrived to Sacramento which is the capital of California state. I have to admit that I didn't know that before. It's takes only 2 hours by bus from San Francisco. So, it's more or less close.

I am living in amazing family house. They are so nice. I found accommodation through airbnb.com and it was the best choice. I am very happy that I can be here.

Look at my new housemates.
I love them all.
Sacramento downtown
Today we saw two weddings within like 10 minutes.
local church
The other one was probably Mexican wedding.

California's State Capitol Building
Old Sacramento
Old Sacramento is really beautiful. It's like the place we know from old American western movies.

 I like this place.

I have seen this view on the postcard in the shop.

Finally something what makes sense and finally there is somebody who doesn't waste in the U.S.
Californians don't waste.
River in Sacramento.

The Tower Bridge
I really enjoyed staying here, in Sacramento and tomorrow I am going to San Francisco.
See you later.

Las Vegas as the most gambling place in the world

I am sure that all of you know Las Vegas pretty well because I know this city from American movies since I was a little kid.

We were living in the suburbs. I have to admit that I like this place very much. The house was amazing as well as the couple who lives there. It is almost hard to believe that this is still Las Vegas.

Las Vegas during the day
I prefer it during the night. During the day is just too hot that you can´t do almost anything. Actually you can go to play in casino. There are very good air conditioning. However photos are nice. During one day I have been in so many important cities all around the the world.
New York city
Very nice view
Italy, my favourite country, I miss you so much.
Venice
Rome
It wouldn´t be Las Vegas without proper wedding. I have also seen some wedding chapels.

I love this place. Basically I love chocolate. I usually don´t buy muffin but who could resist to this view? They even have a huge chocolate Statue of Liberty.

Las Vegas during the night
There are so many people, like everywhere. I like it more during the night because of the special atmosphere. It is just beautiful.

Me
Casino-gambling
Of course, we have been in Casino. This one is famous because few years ago bunch of American students found some mistake in their system and they won really really lot of money.

This is how it looks inside. You can´t actually take any photos. I wasn´t lucky that day so I only lost my money. However in Atlantic City I won something, remember?

Shopping
There is a huge Outlet mall which is even divided on North and South part. The only thing I did not like here are their taxes, too high-around 8 percent.

My last shopping here, in the United States of America. Forever Coach.
Tank top by Michael Kors, leggings by Atmosphere, shoes by Ralph Lauren, handbag by Levis
Bye- Bye.
