Saturday in Pardubice and Hradec Kralove region- castles and hot chocolate

Dear friends,

I love spending weekends on some trip. Last weekend I convinced my friend Kata (wasn´t that hard) that we need to go for a trip somewhere. Our first plan was to visit the city Litomysl but there was some weeding fair and no thanks, I don´t have see it so. Pardubice region than. She has motivated me by this article: http://www.traveltipy.com/top-chateaux-and-castles-in-the-czech-republic/ Also, the weather was really bad like cold and windy, sometimes a bit raining, but it didn´t stop us from traveling.  

Hradek u Nechanic Castle

Our first stop. This castle is located in Hradec Kralove region. If you look at it, the exterior is just breathtaking. The paid tour is definitely worth it.

Kuneticka Hora Castle
Our second stop by car was so called Kunka. It is located nearby city Pardubice. Also beautiful with a great view to the landscape.

Pardubice

The city Pardubice was our very last stop. It is true that it was my first time here. I´ve just been to Hradec Kralove before (these two cities always "fight", something like Prague and Brno or Liberec and Jablonec, something like that). 

If you ever go there, please make sure you stop by in this amazing cafe and order hot chocolate. I usually order Cafe Latte but hot chocolate here is must. We´ve got tips from Kata´s local friend. We order hot chocolated plus caked but it wasn´t a good decision because after that we barely moved.

There are more than one Cafe Bajer in the city.

Easter in South of Bohemia

My friends,

how was your Easter? I went to South part of our beautiful country with my parents. Apart from the main idea of this trip which was riding a bike, we have visited 2 castles. The weather was sometimes cold, windy or rainy, butthe weather forecast was much worst so.

Hluboka nad Vltavou Castle
One of the most beautiful castles in the Czech Republic. Also, my first time here. Located in the South of Bohemia. The exterior as well as the interior is worth it.

The Easter is coming as you can see.

Trebon and bicycles

This area in the South part of Czech Republic is perfect for bicycles. I have been here already couple of times. The city is lovely as well as landscape around. And you can´t miss Carp fries while you are here. It is so delicious. I always look forward to it.

Cervena Lhota Chateau

Cervene Lhota Chateau is anotha very famous and important chateau in the South.The exterior is just stunning. You can have a nice walk around. Some fairy tales were recorded here.

The weather could be better but I don´t complain as long as I travel.

How was my last few months

Hello my friends,
first of all I would like to apologize for not publishing anything on my blog for las few months. For the first time in history I wasn´t in mood to write something. It´s not like I don´t know what I would write about, but more like I didn´t want.

From this moment, I will do my best to publish articles more often. I have so much topics to write about, but no time (for instance my summer trip to Italy). Also, I really enjoy writing my blog.

This year I was celebrating Christmas in Liberec with my family.

Trip to Elephants rocks close to Liberec (few minutes by car, the nearest city is Jitrava). Recommend.

Spending New Year in Budapest, Hungary. It was my second time there and I love the city. During winter you have to visit some spa. There are plenty of them and very cheap. I can recommend you Gellert Thermal Bath.

Gastronomy in Budapest. For me the best is Goulash soup.

My favourite Slovakian meal - Halusky with Bryndza. I was visiting with friends a restaurant called Slovakian Koliba Jasna. Our famous chef Zdenek Pohlreich have been there and choose it to his television show called Ano, sefe.

Nature in Bratislava. It was - 16 degree.

Cross country skiing in Slovakia - The Little Carpathians.

Cross country skiing in Jizera Mountains, Czech Republic.

 

Snowboarding in Chopok, Slovakia. I was here also the year before and highly recommend it. It takes around 5-6 hours by car from Prague. We bought ski pass with 50% sale.

Snowboarding in Tanvald Spicak, Czech Republic. This place is situated in Jizera mountains and not so far from Liberec.

 
Discovering new Cafe with friends. This one is called Kafe Kytka and you will find it in Liberec. Half  is a cafe and the other half is a flower shop.

Shopping. I´m trying to invest the money to sport equipment and clothes, missing in my closet.

The biggest traveling festival in the Czech Republic. 2 days full of lectures about traveling and ideas where to go. For sure I´m planning to attend the next one which is in November.

The ball - Technical University of Liberec. This is always a great opportunity to meet my classmates. The day before there was a ball of my high school.

Trip to Jested with Bohunka, Kristyna and Honza. I have established a group on facebook related to traveling and organizing trips with my friends. This was the first trip which was organized thanks to this group.

Gastronomy festival in Ostrava.

Exploring the city of Ostrava!!! Of course, I couldn´t miss the chance to visit my uncle Kosta, who comes from Eastern Slovakia and living in Ostrava. I always laugh so much that I can´t even catch my breath.

I hope you will forgive me for not publishing articles lately and still read my blog sometimes. I also hope that you will find here some ideas about traveling or I will give you a little bit of motivation.
