Nin as a small town with sandy beach and several churches

When I travel, I always want to see something new. So, after our trip to Karlobag, we continued to place called Nin. As you can see from the pictures, it´s a lovely little town. However if your main goal in Croatia is swimming in the sea, do it somewhere else because here conditions are not optimal. You walk for like 10 minutes and the water is still at a height at your knees.

A few facts:
- little village
- close to city Zadar
- sandy beach
- healing mud
- sightseeing, several churches

This sandy beach is more for families with children.

Lunch in local restaurant.

Cheese from the island PAG- very delicious.

No, we didn´t finish our meal.

Exploring the city.

And that´s all from Nin. After that we were searching for some camp, just to sleep and in the morning (actually at 12:30) we were on your way back to Czech Republic.

Last photos from our long weekend in Croatia this year.

Karlobag as a place in Croatia from my childhood

Hello my friends,
as you might know, this year I spent a long weekend in Croatia with my boyfriend. After holiday in Belgium and Sweden, we started to miss swimming in the sea. So, going to Croatia for a long weekend by car was the best choice.

Last time I went to Croatia in 2012. It was a trip with my friends. 4 years later I´m visiting a place from my childhood. We were heading to Karlobag.

If you wanna know, on Thursday evening we moved from Brno to Bratislava. We spent one night in Slovakia and on Friday morning at 4:30 am we were on our way to Croatia. At the end we decided to use highways in Hungary instead of in Slovenia.

A few facts:
- 900 km from Prague
- very small village
- about 500 inhabitants
- church Sv. Josip
- beach
- the remains of castle

Last time I went to Karlobag in 2004. On the picture with my brother.

When we arrived, we were really hungry. Unfortunately this pizza wasn´t the best choice we could make.

After lunch, ice-cream follows. There is one thing I wanna highlight. Every time I ordered a cream on the top of the ice-cream in Croatia, it was really delicious. From own experience, can´t say it about all places in Italy.

Going for a walk.

I have great memories of this place.

Swimming in the sea although it was so cold.

Exploring the city.

The atelier MIHIC. Highly recommend you.

After spending an afternoon in Karlobag, we continue.

Beautiful sunset.

Autocamp Žalo is very close to Karlobag. We spent one nigh there. The place is really cheap (we slept in the car) and the owner with his wife are both very kind and helpful.

Breakfast with the perfect view.

JUDO T-shirt must picture.

Where do you guys read your magazines?

Morning swimming.

M&M

I´ve been to Karlobag many times when I was a kid. Thus this place means a lot to me. I think it´s perfect if you don´t have much time and you just want to swim in the sea as we did. However next time we will definitely go to Croatia for more than a long weekend.

So, what do you think? Are you going there?
