My free time in the U.S.

Hi guys.
How are you doing? Today I am gonna tell you something about my free time, here in the United States. Of course, I do not work at all times. I have some fun as well. Last month I had always 2 days off per week. This month it's only 1 day off because the park is now closed already at 8 p.m. Anyway, on the photos below you can see what I usually do.

In Virginia the temperature is very high during the summer. Let's say around 40 degrees.
our swimming pool
I just love spending summer abroad.
As employees we can go to the park for free anytime we want. We didn't even plan it but one day it happened that we were singing karaoke over there. Our song was Call me maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen.

I already told you that I am working in Planet Snoopy. Sometimes I go with my friends to ride. Before I came here I was so afraid of all rides in the world. Thanks to my friends I overcame my fear and now I can ride everything I want.

Local Eiffel Tower.
This Eiffel Tower was actually even more expensive than the real one in Paris. Anyway, there is an amazing view. You can see everything around, which is basically our park and forest.

This was my first big ride ever where I had to face my fear and I made it.

Dominator is my favourite ride.

Intimidator 305 belongs to the world's top 10 fastest roller coasters. Guess, what? I made it as well. I'm so proud of myself.

One day I also went to dinosaur area which is located in our park, Kings Dominion. I know that these stuff are mainly for kids,ok? But we had so much fun.

Trip to Virginia Beach with my friends from Taiwan

Here, in the U.S. I have many friends from Taiwan and I really like them. So, I was very happy when we decided to go on a trip together. Last week we rented a car. Our aim was to go to Virginia Beach which is the most famous beach in Virginia state.

This is our car. I just love it.

We stopped in Williamsburg first because there is an outlet. This photo is from place called Pottery-it's a kind of marketplace.

Unfortunately on the way to Virginia Beach we got stuck in traffic. That was just horrible. However I understand that everybody wants to go to the beach.

Here we go. Finally we arrived- later during the afternoon.

If I compare this beach with beaches in south of Europe, for instance Italy, Spain etc. I would say that Europe's beaches are better. Of course, I am not talking about Miami,Florida. That's totally different story.

Me and my friends from Taiwan.

Just me. I was trying to make a jumping photo. Well, you can see the result.

Me and Amy (Ching Ching is her Chinese name) one of my best friends from Taiwan. Jasmine, my other best friend from Taiwan went there by bus so unfortunately we didn't meet.

Virginia Beach during the night.

To be honest I don't know why but I didn't feel "the atmosphere in the air" as I always feel in places where there are beaches. Maybe it's because we arrived so late but also during the night I didn't feel anything. Anyway, the trip was nice and I am very happy that we made it. We came back at 3:45 in the morning.
See you next time.

Niagara Falls as the most famous waterfall in the world

Who would not want to see Niagara Falls, right? Probably the most famous waterfalls in the whole world. It's located on the border between Canada and United States. People say that better view is from Canadian side. I don't know about that but from American side it's just incredible. From Doswell it takes about 10-11 hours by bus. Yes, it is far away..

First what you should do is to buy this discovery pass which costs 36 dollars but every cent is worth it, trust me. 5 main attractions are included.
Niagara Falls State Park sign

1. Cave of the Winds
For this trip you will get yellow raincoat for free as well as sandal. In my opinion this was the best part of all trip to Niagara Falls. The atmosphere is just amazing. You are as close to the waterfall as it is possible.
This is your position.

I am very happy for these photos because it is not easy to take some. Firstly for the weather conditions and secondly there are too many people who want exactly the same photo as you.

Kristyna, Zaneta, me and Bohunka

2. Maid of the Mist
You will get another raincoat for free. You go very close to waterfall by boat. Without this trip my experience with Niagara Falls would be very poor. 600,000 gallons of water falling right in front of you. I recommend you to take sunglasses with you because otherwise I would see really nothing.

American-on the left side and Canadian side on the right

This is Canada. I haven't been there but I am sure that one day I will.

Niagara Scenic Trolley
This pass also included unlimited rides by this trolley.

We were lucky because sometimes there is a kind of show. These people represent some other famous people from past who have something to do with Niagara Falls.

3. Niagara Aquarium
This aquarium is not big but it is really nice.

4. Niagara Gorge Discovery Center
This was actually very quick stop. I did not enjoy it that much. You can find here a lot of talking about history of Niagara Falls.

5. Niagara: Legends of Adventure Movie
I didn't go there to watch this movie. It's about 45 min. For me it was enough to watch 11 min. movie in Discovery center about Niagara Falls and I almost fell asleep anyway. However some of my friends say that this movie was actually good.

See you later,guys..

My weekend in Baltimore

My friend Vendy from the Czech Republic is now working in Hard Rock Cafe in Baltimore. I spent with her 2 days.
Baltimore as a city is all about harbor which  is just like city center, I would say. I love seaports. This place reminded me a bit of Cardiff, Wales.

Downtown Baltimore: Inner Harbor

The weather was bad but we still enjoyed it.
U.S. flags are just everywhere
My outfit: shirt by U.S. Polo assn.-purchased in NY, leggins by Atmosphere from England, handbag by Levis, shoes by Lacoste, sunglasses by Bebe from the U.S.

One of the best views of Baltimore is from the hill which you can see from the harbor.

The view from hotel Marriott is also magnificent. I didn't live in this place, btw. Vendy and I just did sneak in there.

Typical skyscrapers.

Night life
Well, what can I say about party in Baltimore? I was a bit drunk, maybe more than a bit, you know me. Basically clubs in the U.S. are not like "Miami style" so you have a bar or pub and there you can dance. On friday we went to some swimming pool party for black people and then to this area-you can see on the photo below, where you pay 10 dollars and you can go to like 6 different places-"clubs"

The clubs always close around 2 a.m.which I honestly do not understand but ok. We went to eat some pizza and suddenly was like 3:30 and some guys were supposed to gave us a ride home but nothing happened. So at the end we were walking in Baltimore, all alone in let's say some kind of "dangerous" neighbourhoods and some policewoman saw us so she was the one who gave us a ride after all.

Shopping
my favourite place in the mall

This mall is located like 2 min. from the harbor. There is an amazing Chinese restaurant. I ordered some chicken with rice and noodles and for very big portion I paid only 5,25 dollars.

And finally one photo of me and my friend Vendy.

In a moment I am going to Niagara Falls so I gotta go.
See you later.
