Melbourne as the second biggest city in Australia

Our cheap flight tickets were from Munich to Melbourne. It was perfect because after that we wanted to visit Tasmania. Also we didn´t have time to visit Sydney although we do have a relatives there from my mum´s  side. I hope to visit them next time as well as New Zeland where we have more of our relatives.

What does Melbourne means to me?
- one of the best cities I have ever visited
- one of those cities where I can imagine to live
- very helpful people, they see you with a map with thinking face and they immediately run to you and ask if you need a help
- skyscrapers
- beautiful gardens and parks
- beach and penguins
- hostels - Flinders Backpackers and Nomads All Nations, there I realized how tasty are pancakes for a breakfast (the averige price was about 500 czk per night)
- make a quick shower because the water is limited so save it (sing in every hostel)
- just love it all except it was about 2 days after we left Melbourne, there was a terorist attack in Melbourne. Fortunately nobody died.

Great Ocean Road - the world famous Twelve Apostles

Renting a car in Australia is pretty expensive. That´s why me and my brother decided to join a tour. If you go to Australia, you have to go the Great Ocean Road. It´s not only about 12 apostles. The whole road is totally breathtaking.

About the trip
Historic Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch
Surf Coast beaches, seaside towns and stunning costal views
Enjoy Lunch in the Seaside town of Apollo Bay
Bush walk through the Otway’s Rainforest
Loch Ard Gorge and the Shipwreck Coast
The world famous Twelve Apostles

What means Great Ocean Road for me?
- playing parrots
- beautiful trees
-pizza
- was it Hugh Jackman who bought a house in this area?
- snakes warning - you can see photo below. You have to keep on your mind that if you walk somewhere you shoudn´t (actually not very far from the sign of warning) you could meet local snakes
- 12 apostles (stunning formation of rock stacks)
- I was really sick in the bus so I had to change my seat with someone and sit in front
