Mukumugi valley as a secret nature in Hualien

Hi guys,
when Amy and I stayed in Hualien, Amy took me for a day trip to Mukumugi valley. This place is popular among locals, but just local people, because there are not almost any tourists. I love places like these...

A few facts:
- the home of Truku tribe
- located in Hualien region, you can make a day trip from Hualien city (as we did), it is close
- only some particular number of people can enter to this place during one day
- there are not many tourists
- popular among locals
- swimming, super clear water
- nice hiking trails

We are entering the valley.

This is just perfect winter.

Like I said. No tourists.

Local cat. Looks a bit like one of mine.

We are surrounded by beautiful nature.

I am sorry, what is forbidden to do? :-)

Super clear amazing water.

This is my favourite spot in Mukumugi valley.

And we are trying my new selfie stick. I´ve bought in Taiwan almost for free compare to European prices.

So, what do you think? According to me it is definitely worth visiting.

Hualien as one of the most beautiful small towns in Taiwan

Good afternoon,
this article is related to Hualien city in Taiwan. Hualien is one of those places you need to visit during your holiday. Amy and I spent I think 2-3 nights in Hualien. It was funny because in the same time my slovak classmate from Huddersfield was there too. Unfortunately at the end we didn´t manage to meet.

A few facts:
- Hualien city is a capital of Hualien county
- located in east coast of Taiwan
- more than 100 000 inhabitants
- very popular place in Taiwan, for locals as well as for tourists
- the sea, beach
- hiking trips around Hualien city

This is our hotel. I can´t complaine about anything, really. Everything was perfect. I didn´t feel very well when I arrived and local staff truly cared about me all the time.

One of the best hotels I have ever visited (I think they are also TripAdvisor winners repeatedly).

This is how our room looks like.

Hygiene.

The view from our roof of the hotel.

Exploring the city.

The promotion for Taiwan beer. I don´t like beer so I think I even haven´t tried it.

Local beach 1 minute from our hotel.

I love just sitting on the beach or walking around.

This picture was taken during Christmas Eve.

Beach on the other side of Hualien.

Hualien is a good starting point from where you can make trips around such as Taroko National Park, Mukumugi valley etc.

Yangmingshan National Park as a place with tallest dormant volcano in Taiwan

Hi guys,
we made this trip to Yangmingshan national park my first official day in Taiwan (I arrive in the night so I don´t count that one). I was so happy to see Amy and Jasmine. My two best friends from Taiwan.

We made a stop here just for like half an hour. Because we had to folllow a busy schedule, to see as much as possible.

A few facts:
- it is one of the nine national parks in Taiwan
-close to Taipei, you can easily get there by car or monotor scooter and it takes only few minutes
- it is famous for hot springs
- Taiwan's tallest dormant volcano, Seven Star Mountain (1,120 m).

My first lunch in Taiwan. We were really hungry and I had no clue what to order :-)

This is our group: Jasmine, Amy, Amy´s sister and her husband with kids.

And here we go. Everything was really delicious.

After lunch we were going to Yangmingshan national park.

This is Taiwan's tallest dormant volcano.

I am so happy that finally after one year and half we are reunited again.
