Haag as a destination for my first real business trip abroad

Hi guys,
Last month I went to Netherlands. Why? Business trip. My first business trip abroad. Actually, I went to Bratislava (the capital of Slovakia) in October. So, ok, let´s say second. Anyway, I am always very grateful for opportunities like these.

This wasn´t my first time in Netherland. 3 years ago I went to Amsterdam and Zaanse Schans and also when I was a kid I participated in Judo competition in Amersfoort. I don´t like raining and bad weather generally, you know that. That´s why I was quite suprised how much I like this country, really. I haven´t traveled much here so far but it will change because I definitely want to come back to travel more.

Something about Haag
- the third biggest city in Netherlands
- the seat of the Dutch government, parliament and the monarch
- there are located several very important international justice institutions
- about 500 000 inhabitants
- 40 min. by train from Amsterdam

What can you find here?
- nice, small, historical city centre
- good shopping
- beach

Around central train station.

Local square.

My first day in Haag. So happy that I´m traveling again. And business trip? Win-win.

Have you ever heard about Vapiano restaurants? It´s very cheap and they cook your meal just in front of you. It´s a fresh and also home made pasta.

My favourite dish- spaghetti alla carbonara.

Chinese part of the city.

Few photos from Haag.

Oh my... No, I don´t know what should I think about these heads? In any case it scares me.

Shopping- Primark.

City tour after shopping.

Thi particular statue scared me to death every time I was walking around.

I´m ready for gala dinner (forget about my shoes :-)

dress from Poland
Delicious dutch cookies.

Some education in Haag.

With my colleague Klarka.

Last day of our stay in Haag, me and Klara organized a little trip to the beach.

Yes, there is a beach in Haag.

Klara is taking some selfie. I have her permission to publish this photo :-)

We love our jobs :-)

I am always happy when I can spend some time at the beach. Even if it is during November.

And this is a very last photo from Haag.

So what do you think? In my opinion, Haag is a very nice city and I really enjoyed staying there. For sure, I will stop by again in the future. If you ever come to Netherlands, I highly recommend you visiting Haag and of course Amsterdam (see next article:-)

Regards
Míša
