Taroko National Park as a place in Hualien

Hello,
as you probably know, I really like nature (as well as cities). So, when I went to Taiwan, of course I couldn´t miss some National parks. Amy took me to Taroko National Park. It was a tour by bus organized through our hotel in Hualien. I was the only one who didn´t speak Chinese, so it was a little hard to understand what the guide was saying.

A few facts:
- one of the nine national parks in Taiwan
- located in Hualien county
- established in 1986
- is famous for its marble gorge
- park alone has an area of 92,000 hectares

Our tour can start.

Of course, I am wearing protective helmet.

Red bridge.

Pagoda.

Eternal Spring Shrine.

Interesting, right?

I don´t know what is written there, but it is famous :-)

Beautiful Hualien. Spectacular views.

So, what do you think? Is it worth it?

Regards
Michalka
