When my friends from Italy came to visit me in Liberec for a weekend I suggested them to go to Jizera Mountains. It is really close to my hometown and there is so much to explore. If you like mountains, I would really recommend you this particular trip. Funny story: During this trip my outdoor shoes were totally destroyed and I had to walk in like half of it for 3 hours! All of my friends were laughing because the shoes were falling apart during the way. They even made a video because I needed help to separate some pieces of that shoes so I could at least a little bit walk and finish the trip. I hope the video is already lost somewhere.
Highlights: Jizerka, Pansky Dum, museum, Lasici cesta, Pytlacke kameny, little lakes, rare peat bogs (raseliniste). It is about 20 km of hike.
