Latvia has not been on my bucket list very high although I met some
Latvians in Sicily during Erasmus project and they became very good
friends of our Czech group. We managed to visit Latvia as well as Lithuania during one week and it was lovely holiday.

... people very often make mistakes in terms of Latvia and Lithuania - for instance during football but also some important official events
... about 2 milions inhabitants, the size more or less like Czech Republic
... located on the east coast of the Baltic Sea
... Latvians eat meat a lot
... Apart from Latvians, there are also Russians, Belorus and the Ukrainians

... the highest Mountain - Gaizinkalns has 312 metres above sea level
