This is a story about the chateau Nove Hrady. In the trainslation it means New Castles. I had to idea that it is also so called Czech Versailles or Little Schonbrunn. I have been in all those places too and can honestly say that Chateau Nove Hrady has nothing to be ashamed of. It is truly beautiful...
A story: Our friend Lucka who took us there told us this: Few year ago she was attending a wedding as a guest. I have noticed that if you have a weeding on places like chateaus etc. you usually rent it for like an hour or something. Their friends not only rented for a whole day but also used a helicopter to get there.
If you are in the area around Litomysl city, you can make a quick stop here in this little town like we did. It is worth it.
A few facts:
- So called Czech Versailles or Little Schonbrunn
- Small town in Pardubice region
- Close to Litomysl city
- Chateau
- The entrance: 50 CZK to the gardens which surrounded the chateau
- The architecture style: rococo
