this article is related to veterans. When my friends from abroad visiting me in Liberec, there is a big chance that I will take them to see some veteran cars. Why? That is because my family owns few. How many? Good question. I have never been able to count it. Some of it are for instance in local museum.
Anyway, this article is about my trip to France few weeks ago. In Liberec there is a club of veteran cars which was organizing this trip to France. My stepfather is a member of this club. So, he offered me to come with him and his grandson. Of course, I could not miss the chance to visit France during some long weekend. I love France and it has been a while last time I went there. And of course, I am also interested a bit in veteran cars. After all I grew up with it.
We are entering the biggest museum of veteran cars in the whole world.
Peugeot brand will always have a place in my life. Peugeot 205 was my first car which I shared with my brother when I was eighteen years old.
Few photos from the museum.
Bugatti Veyron is one of the fastest cars in the world.
A prove that I was there.
After visiting this veterans museum I had to see also the historical city centre of Mulhouse which turns out to be very beautiful. Let me show you some pictures.
Local square.
Temple Saint Etienne dominates the square. This is must see sightseeing. Unfortunately during my stay they were renovating.
I had only limited time to explore the city but I think I have managed it quite well.
What are you looking at?
My recommendation: Mulhouse historical city centre is very beautiful as you can see on the photos. It is like 10 km from border with Germany. I also suggest you visiting local museum. Especially Cite de l`automobile which is the biggest museum of veterans in the world and it is definitely worth it.
Regards
Michalka
