Muskauer Park / Park Mużakowski - UNESCO

I was thinking what to do next after visiting the Rakotzbrucke in Germany. When I looked at the map, I found out there is a large park which is divided into 2 countries. The choice was clear. At the beginning the weather was bad but at the end of the day, the sun was shining. Yes, we were really lucky. I highly recommend you this place.

You should know:
- the city Kromlau, less than 2 000 inhabitants
- chateau park-the biggest in Germany
- part of the park is in Germany, the other part in Poland
- 2,5 hour by car from Liberec
- very close to Rakotzbrucke (The Devil´s Bridge)

We start a day with a breakfast.

Rakotzbrücke as a Devil´s Bridge in Germany

I actually didn´t know about this place and most of my friends either. I found out that it is quite popular from traveling discussions and forums on facebook. Imagine, how happy I was when I saw on the map that it is quite close. The Devil´s Bridge - only the name itself is fascinating.

You should know:
- just 2 hours by car from Liberec
- Germany
- fairytale bridge
- very close to parking place, like 5 min. by walk
- soemtimes I make trips during bad weather because it always means there won´t be any people

The weather was really bad so we took the advantage of it. Empty parking (just one car from the Czech Republic).

The weather in November.

The Devil´s Bridge + rainy = amazing atmosphere and no people at all.

Village Rohozná + scary Castle Svojanov

In the Czech Republic is quite populat to have so called cottages. One of my friends have the cottage in a little village Rohozná. The Castle Svojanov is something like 20 min. by walk from this village. I highly recommend you visiting this castle because for me personally, it has been one of the best tours in my life so far. I don´t have any photos from inside the Castle, because it is forbidden and I don´t want to get in trouble with ghosts and others.

You should know:
- located in Pardubice Region
- this castle is the second most terrifying in the Czech Republic

A village Rohozná u Poličky.

Tatratea from Slovakia can´t miss at our Tatra Team weekend trip.

At the top of the tower in Castle Svojanov. Next time I wanna go there for a night tour.

Hiking in Germany with a Tourist Club

My friend Alena, who is living in city Decin has just joined the tourist club. Personally I think it is a great idea. I always search for some traveling friend and here you have many. Every Saturday they make trips - hiking around the area. You can do hiking in the Czech Republic as well as in Germany. It is quite close.

A few photos from this trip.

I love hiking and these views are totally worth it, don´t you think? That feeling after the 30 km of walk is just great.

With love
