Oostende as a port and spa town in Belgium

Hola chicos,
when we decided to go to Belgium for a holiday, I already knew we have to spend at least one afternoon at the beach. Our choice became a place called Oostende.

A few facts:
- port and spa town
- kings Leopold I. and II. were spending their holiday here
- Fort Napoleon, which had Napoleon built in 1811

Panorama picture.

For the first time together at the beach.

I´m just so happy that I can be here. Beach, Belgium, Boyfriend, Sun, Sea, Summer.

Remember: " You´re awesome".

I´m sorry I´ve got like milion of pictures from the beach and coudn´t decide which one to publish.

After the beach, we´re exploring the city.

Local harbor and boats.

Fort Napoleon. Of course, we arrived 2 hours after they closed.

Around the fort.

I´m very proud of these pictures. This was fun.

So, what do you guys think? To be honest, for me it´s not so important if I can swim in the sea or lay on the beach. I´m just happy that I can watch the sea and be nearby. So, even if this wasn´t perfect summer weather I get used to from Italy, Spain or Portugal, I was still satisfied.

Regards from the beach in Belgium

Doel as a ghost town in Belgium

Hola,
today´s contribution is about very special place/village in Belgium. It´s called Doel.

What´s the story? The area was threatened with complete demolition due to the future enlargement of the harbor. Everything was supposed to be destroyed.

A few facts:
- ghost town
- very popular for professional photographers and making movie scenes
- street and graffiti art
- 30 km from Antwerp
- area with nuclear power station
- 400 years old Belgium village
- less than 20 inhabitants
- abandoned village

Street&graffiti paradise. Abandoned buildings.

Professional photographers in the action.

They are making some music video.

You can have some fun.

likeness?

You know that I was born as a libra, right? I´m very sorry, but I just couldn´t decide which one I wanna put here.

It looks like the scene from Titanic, right?

Coffee time.

This was totally unexpected visit. I was searching for like famous places in Belgium but haven´t heard about this one. Thankfully my friends took us there. I have to admit that this place touched my heart, really. The story is incredible powerful...

If you ever come to Belgium, you should see this place.

Prokop valley as a nature in Prague

Hola chicos,
after quite a long time, I was spending a weekend in Prague with my boyfriend. I have kind of list of places in Prague I wanna visit. Prokop valley was one of them. I usually seek for nature in the cities. I know that maybe it doesn´t look like it because I love fashion and stuff, so you might think the only thing I care about is handbag. Well, my dear friends, that´s not entirely true.

A few facts:
- popular place in Prague
- nature reserve
- small lakes, quarries etc.

We are starting our trip from metro station Jinonice.

Local church on the cemetery.

We get lost a little bit.

This is what I really appreciate. You can learn something about the place.

Beautiful views.

Somewhere in the field.

The nature trail.

The playground in the Prokop valley.

Red quarry as a romantic place in Prokop valley.

Small lake. Do you know Czech movie Pelíšky? One of the movie scene was filmed right here.

The bridge.

To be honest, we were a little bit disappointed from the beginning of our trip. We were walking in the middle of nowhere-in the fields. There were no people seeking for the nature trail. However one day in Prokop valley is not enough. I think that I would have to give it another shot.

Hasta luego

Prachov rocks as the most famous part of Bohemian Paradise

Hola chicos,
since I was a little girl, I was always very excited when we were heading to place called Bohemian Paradise (Český ráj). In my opinion it is one of the most wonderful places here. Local atmosphere is magical.

This time we´ve chosen area called Prachov rocks (Prachovské skály). We left our car in Prachov and made like 5 km long trip. I was actually planning 13 km trip from Jicin to Prachov rocks but after the trip to Snezka nobody wanted to join me:-)

A few facts:
- the most famous part of Czech paradise
- rocks
- very close to city Jicin (one hour by car from Liberec)
- you pay the entrance fee (around 60 CZK I think)
- many scenic views

This is how I imagine perfect Sunday. A few photos from our trip.

So, what do you guys, think? Isn´t this place magnificent? You definitely have to make a stop here.

After the trip we are making a stop in Jicin which is known in the Czech Republic as a city of Fairy tales.

With love from Bohemian paradise
