How my year 2017 was

My dear friends,
Since I got back from Australia where I had spent almost 1 month, I haven´t stopped yet. And unfortunately writing my blog is one of those things I always postpone (I always put on the back burner). I am sorry fot that and will try to do better :-). Anyway, I have decided to write down a kind of summary of 2017 because it was a year full of changes.

Traveling:
9 countries: Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Australia (mainly Tasmania), China.

Sports:
cycling, inline skating, snowboading, cross country skiing, swimming, climbing, running etc.. I raised more than 4,000 CZK in a charity run.

A few facts:
- my brother moved from England to the Czech Republic
- organized a fashion show, acted in a theatre show and had a presentation about Italy
- my cousin Petra gave birth to a son, his name is Dominik and he is awesome!
- created traveling group on facebook, created a Tatra team
- new agenda at work: organized my first conference, golf tournament and roadshows
- at work we organized a summer camp for children with no home

So, how was my 2017? Take a look.

Winter sports

cross country skiing in Slovakia

Climbing - my new favourite sport

Reading books again
During holiday in Baltic, I managed to read 5 books in 9 days.

Shopping
Last year I invested in sport´s equipment a lot.

Discovering Prague during the weekends or after work

Culture - theatre, cinema

Reunion with my friend Amy from Taiwan
We spent a few days in Vienna with Marlene (another friend from Kinds Dominion) and then travelled in the Czech Republic. Guess what?? This year - 2018, Jasmine is coming. Can´t wait.

Summer 2017
Slovakia - The High Tatras

Lithuania - cycling

Latvia - Riga

Italy - Cinque Terre area

New Acropolis
I started to study philosophical school again. I have been a member of this organization for years in Liberec. So, now I am a member of Prague school. I am also playing a theatre there.

My birthday - 28
In Australia people asked me very often, how old I was. First time I made a mistake and said that I was 27. My brother corrected me. In my defence, the number is changing every year! Well, nobody believed me anyway.

Traveling at weekends with my friends

Rakotzbrucke, Germany

My biggest holiday on the other side of the world - December 2017

China - The Great Chinese Wall

Australia - 12 Apostles

Tasmania - Bay of Fires

Christmas 2017
I technically celebrated Christmas with my family after my return but I think it should be a part of this article too.

skirt from England, T-shirt stolen from my mum
by Guess, Armani, Versace

I finished this book last month and have to recommend it.

The latest book about Etiquette by Ladislav Špaček.

2017 was exciting, indeed. Good things happened as well as the bad ones. Good thing? For instance, I saw my brother after 4 long years! Bad thing? My heart was broken, even twice.

What is coming up next? Nobody knows but I am sure it will be interesting.

I do already have some plans for 2018
- reunion with my friend Jasmine from Taiwan
- Traveling plans: Finland, Russia, Estonia
- visiting traveling festivals
- studying Spanish
- online educational courses
- playing a puppet theatre for orphans
- writing my blog of course

What about you?

Míša

Sněžka - the highest mountain in the Czech Republic and the sunrise

I was thinking about going to Snezka during the night for quite some time. So, when my friend Alena came up with this idea, of course I was in! So, in October, (actually like 3 days after my b-day) we organized a trip to Snezka with the aim to see the sunrise.

You should know:
- sleep before you go. I went to climb the wall inside. Of course, I handle it but just because I have too much of energy
- it was quite cold already, so bring warm clothes and tea
- this idea is quite popular in these days, so you will meet many people on the top of the mountain
- usually people arrive to their starting point in the morning (for instance we left at 3 am) and then after the climbing go back home, so you need a driver who can handle it

Tatra team

Like I said, it was also my b-day so my friend Honza suprised me and at the top he gave me this bottle along with the glasses to toast.

We were so cold that we were not even able to dress up our Tatra team t-shirts.

On the way back to the car.

It was great and I hope that next year we will organize the same crazy trip but just with a different mountain.

Olomouc as the historical city in the Czech Republic

Last week I spent few days in city Olomouc. I remember Olomouc from the time when I practised JUDO and I have very nice memories about it. Especially local square.

You should know:
- very nice Christmas markets
- historical city
- more than 100 000 inhabitants, the 6th biggest city in the Czech Republic
- located in Moravia part
- Pillar "Sloup nejsvětější trojice" - UNESCO
- town hall with an astronomical clock
- the views from town hall

First picture is from Thursday when we arrived. Second is from Saturday while we were leaving.

Snow + sun = the perfect winter weather.

It wasn´t definitely my last time there. Olomouc is only 2 hours from Prague by train.

With love
Miska
