Los Angeles as a place where you can meet a celebrity

Actually, I haven't meet any. If I think about it maybe yes. The problem is that I don't know. I mean, I have seen a lot of guys to make a movie, like everywhere. Then some professional photographers who took photos of someone else. However I didn't recognize anybody. Anyway I think that I have seen some local celebrity. I am just not quite aware of that.

Here are some things that I have noticed:
Apart from English, Spanish is also "official"language. Everything here is automatically translated to Spanish.
Public transportation sucks. Timetables do not exist. They do not have a stop button in the bus, you have to pull the cord. Omg, I have never seen such as thing in my entire life.
Always traffic, everywhere. You don't wanna drive a car there, trust me.

Now, let's see how Los Angeles looks like.

Downtown
It is like a city centre. I have to admit that downtown of Los Angeles is really beautiful and I fell in love with it immediately.
Chinatown
City hall
Walt Disney Concert Hall

Beach in Santa Monica and Malibu
When we still had a car we went to the beach in Santa Monica, which is still part of Los Angeles. If you ever go to LA, I recommend you to go at least once to the beach. This one is nice.

I had to keep my bath towel at all times around my neck, Why? You can't see it but for me it wasn't warm enough to swim in the sea.

We went to the beach on the 11.9. We also decided to stop by in Malibu which is really close. In front of their local university you could find 3000 flags. Each flag for one victim of the World Trade Center.

3000 flags
Hollywood
I am sure that everybody knows what Hollywood is all about. I like it there. The only problem is that there are too many tourists who want exactly the same photo as you do. We also went to watch a movie called Guardians of the galaxy. I like Marvel so for me it was a good movie.
Universal Studios
Walk of Fame
Welcome to Beverly Hills.
Have you ever heard about Beverly Hills? Probably yes. Basically the richest people from LA and celebrities live there.

This street is full of luxury stores. I tell you one thing. There are actually only 2 types of people on this street. People who are very very very very rich, so you can recognize it during 1 second and then tourists who you can recognize immediately as well according to their clothes, of course,
Rodeo drive
The Hollywood sign
If you wanna see this sign from the nearest point you have to go to Mulholland Hwy street. It was vety hot, there is a big hill, we almost didn't have any water left but honestly? It is worth it, Or you can just go by car.

Parks
Our last day we went to visit some local parks. This one is called Echo Park and as you can see there is a beatiful view of Downtown LA. Trust me or not we were walking 20 km that day.

All right, guys. That's it for today. I would just say that I really like Los Angeles and I wanna come back one day.
Now, I am in Las Vegas so you can expect another article about gambling, of course.

Regards from California

NP Sequoia- the largest tree in the world

Hi there.
I am still in Los Angeles. However me and my friends Jeff, Kristyna and Honza rented a car and made a trip to National park Sequoia which is quite famous because you can find there the largest tree in the whole world.

This is our car.

Guess, who was driving? Actually I didn't want to drive in the U.S. at all. Then I said ok,maybe I will drive somewhere in the middle of nowhere and at the end I had to drive in the centre of Los Angeles. Could you believe that? Me driving in Los Angeles. Another challenge was finding parking place in Hollywood where I am currently living. I did it as well.

Here we go. Our first photo in NP Sequoia. We are all from the same city in the Czech Republic. You already know my hometown, right? Yes, it's Liberec.

Simply love nature.

There he is.
Sherman tree as the largest tree in the world.

There are plenty of other big trees.

This is how it looks like there.

I am very happy that we made this trip. My main purpose of going to West Coast was to see as many national parks as possible.

California, here I come

So, here I am. In California. For following almost 3 weeks I am gonna travel on the West coast.
On Monday I had very bad day. Why is that? Well, everything started to be a little bit complicated beause me and my friend Jeff were supposed to travel with one more friend who told us 2 hours before the flight that he is not going with us. So, our travel plan has completely changed.

On Monday night we arrived to Los Angeles. This is the airport.

First night we spent over there because we came late and didn't want to pay for accommodation. On the photo you can see my other friends who were working with me in Kings Dominion. Now, we are all in Los Angeles.
Jeff, Kristyna and Honza. All guys from my hometown Liberec
We have arranged the accommodation through Airbnb.com where you basically live in someone's house. It was very hot, very long way, without a water and waiting for the guy like 2 hours maybe because he was at work. However he was running for us as soon as he could.

This is the view of the Los Angeles. We have a private swimming pool, gym etc. This place is just amazing. I wanna live here.

All right. That's it for today. I have to go to bed now because it is already 3 a.m. Tomorrow we have a beach day and going to Malibu as well.

Shopping in the U.S.

Hi guys.
I don't know how but the time here is running so fast. It's always like this when you have a fun. Sunday is my last day at work and then I am going to travel. Finally. I just love travelling. However before that I am gonna tell you a little bit about shopping here, in the United States of America.

New York City
My first shopping experience. New York is a bit expensive as you can imagine but it is worth it. So many opportunities for shopping.
Times Square
Tiffany shop-amazing place
U.S. Polo Assn. in Harlem, New York
I found this shop in Harlem. I know, it is hard to believe. However I fall in love with this american brand.

Look, what did I buy.
in sale for 20 dollars
in Central Park

Baltimore
As you already know I went to visit my friend in Baltimore. Here are photos from shopping center. I've bought there a skirt by Forever 21 for 5 dollars.
Local shopping center
Outlet in Williamsburg
Basically outlets in the U.S. are very cheap.Especially American brands. I've bought here sunglasses by Bebe for 5 dollars, Polo T-shirt by Ralph Lauren for 22 dollars, wallet by Guess for 25 dollars, perfume by Coach for 12 dollars etc..

Outlet in Atlantic City
This outlet is also really huge. You can find good outlets everywhere in the U.S.

So, let me tell you what brands are much more cheaper than in Europe:
Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, Ralph Lauren, U.S.Polo Assn., Bebe, DKNY, Michael Kors, Levis, Converse,Vans, Coach, Victoria's Secret, Hollister, Aeropostale, Abercrombie&Fitch...
If you don't wanna spend too much money, go to the outlet because it is very cheap here.

Potomac Mills
It is one of the biggest outlets in the East coast. I took my Czech friends and we went there with my friend Steven by car.
with my friends Zaneta and Kristyna
My new luggage by Calvin Klein. It is gonna be like a present for myself for my 25 birthday in October.

Burlington
Things in this shop are even more cheaper than in the outlet. I've bought there for example wallet by Tommy Hilfiger for 10 dollars or handbag for 23 dollars. Then I've bought jacket by Calvin Klein for 25 dollars. Actually 3 jackets because it is so cheap, come on.

After shopping in Atlantic City. I just love Coach.

See you later guys.
