Ibiza is not just about party

Hi guys.
As you know I made a trip to Ibiza (with my friends from the Czech Republic who visited me- Frantisek and Marketa). There are really cheap flights from Barcelona to Ibiza with Ryanair. I paid for return ticket around 60 euros.
Ibiza is not just about party. It is very nice island and I give you some tips in case you would go there in the future. I definitelly recommend it. You can reach everything by car very easily, the island is not that big.

My advices are:
- rent a car or motor scooter and go around the whole island (car- for one day around 35 euros)
- take a ferry to Formentera (one day is enough), the island is small with beatiful beaches
- go to the beach
- for sure go to the party but prepare lots of money
- if you wanna just party go there in party season which is from june till october (beginning), there are disco buses

Party
The oldest and probably most famous club is Pacha. We went there. Marketa and Frantisek will be married soon so for them it was last party as a single. They also had to sleep before party because "spanish style" when you go to disco club at two is quite new for them and they are not used to do this as I do.
The entrance was 30 euros but only because now isn' t party season. Usually the prices are much more higher. Marketa paid for Mojito 12 euros but on the other hand she said that it was the best Mojito she ever tasted. I was drinking vodka with Fanta because one drink was included in the price. Frantisek chose non-alcoholic beer cause he was our driver, but you still had fun, right? :-) Pacha is open all the year. After party season most of clubs are closed.

Capital of Ibiza
It is Ibiza but the city is also called Eivissa. We lived here and I recommend you this location for sure. There are beaches, clubs, castle, lot of restaurants, shops...The airport is very close.

Other cities and places

The second biggest city in Ibiza is Sant Antoni. There are also nice beaches and clubs.

 You can visit some cave. We went to Cova de Can Marca. The ticket costs 10 euros but it was very short and we didn' t see that much.

Es Vedra- is Magnetic mount, very beautiful and romantic place.

Pirate stone towers- there are plenty of them.

Hike in the woods. Frantisek was a bit pissed off because me and Marketa didn' t want him to take for such as long trip (due to pain in his leg which he brought from the Czech Republic) in the woods as he wished. However at the end he got over this and he even smiled a bit for a photo. I had to persuade him quite hard that I wanna this picture.

South of Ibiza is quite poor. The fire destroyed many places. However I think you should see it as well.

 I like Ibiza and I wanna come back during party season for sure. However I have to save some money first. So, who wants to go with me?

Fashion chronicle: my favourite black skirt by H&M

 Holaaa chicas.
How are you girls? I am pretty good. It is sunny again in Barcelona and warm so I can' t complain about anything :-) Today' s article is mainly for you, because it is related to fashion, my big love as you know.

I like H&M. Who doesn' t, right? Actually I started shopping there when I was studying in England. Before I didn' t care that much. Also because there wasn' t any shop in Liberec and when I travell I usually buy another brands. So, like I said I fall in love with H&M in England. I gotta admit that I love shopping abroad so most of my clothes are not  from the Czech Republic.

I purchased this black skirt in England. If I remember well, the price was around 3- 5 pounds. There was a big discount because it was after summer period. Here, in Barcelona I am very limited in terms of clothes. Sure you understand why. I am coming back to the Czech Republic in december so I am very curious how I am gonnaa take all my stuff with me.

I can wear this skirt almost everywhere( bar, trips, work, walking in the city) depends on T-shirt, shoes and hadbag.

Last fashion chronicle from the beach: dresses and T-shirts from local shops in Badalona

Holaaaaa.
I have last article for you, guys about dresses, skirts or T-shirts from Badalona (it is like part of Barcelona). My housemates asked me for last time to help them with photos. We took these pictures on Halloween. These days are still enough warm here. I am very happy. Do you like this kinda fashion style?

Sunday trip to Sitges and Taragona

Today my friends from the Czech Republic (Marketa and Frantisek) returned home. On Sunday we still managed to make the trip to Sitges and Taragona. The weather was very nice here, around 23 degree. Our trip was another incredible story :-)

In the morning we went to rent a car. We wanted one particular company- Hertz. They should have 5 offices in Barcelona but only one is open on sunday. So, we took a metro to station called Sants. Hertz asked us for 60 euros (In Ibiza we paid 35 euros but ok). Another companies around had prices like 70, 95, 105 euros per day so Hertz was at the end the cheapest one. However we couldn' t rent a car because we found out that Frantisek, the only one who has a credit card somehow couldn' t pay anything by his credit card even if he has money there. Bad day. Ok, we took a train from Sants.

Sitges
Is a small town 40 km distante from Barcelona. In spain this place is known as a ´gay town`. However you don' t see anything special when you walk in the town during the day. Also maybe because there are many tourists. Every year there are some festivals and very famous carnevals (it looks like in Rio de Janeiro)

Taragona
This city is also close to Barcelona- around 100 km. In Roman times it was called Tarraco and the city was very famous and important. You can find many monuments which have been inscribed on the UNESCO list. I love amphitheatres. We were unlucky and they didn' t sell us tickets because it was open only till 15:00 and we came exactly in 14:30 and even if there was written they have to sell us the tickets 30 min. before closing times nobody cares :-(
The town is very nice anyway. You can feel history everywhere. There is nice beach too. Only if you are hungry as we were you should watch your time because you can' t eat in restaurants after 16:00 (nobody cooks). You have to wait till 20:00 because that is dinner time. Lunch time is from 13:00 till 16:00.

Friday in Barcelona with my friends from the Czech Republic

Ola chicos.
I am sending you regards from Barcelona. I have been a bit busy lately because I had in Barcelona another visit from the Czech Republic- my friends Marketa and her fiance Frantisek. They came for like 10 days and we made really lot of things together, you will see.

On friday was holiday in Spain so I could spend some more time with my friends. So, I took Marketa and Frantisek to city center of Barcelona. We were walking in Passeig de Gracia, Placa Catalunya and La Rambla. Later my colleague from work Petra joined us.We dicovered all together some new places in Barcelona.

 El Raval is an Islamic part of Barcelona. Frantisek was just sitting on the bench because he was a bit tired and this guy came to him and started to teach him some prayer. Then I came and we were saying it all together. I woudn' t come to this place during the night by the way. It could be a bit dangerous.

Later we went to place called Les Quatre Gats which was favourite place of Picasso. The prices there will tel you this.

In the afternoon we visited Parc Guell. Catalan's people started to charge it last week so now you pay for the entrance 8 euros. Then of course my favourite miradouro and sunset.

Finally, at the end of the day we went to see football match between 2 fotball clubs in Barcelona (FC Barcelona and Espanyol). There were like 5 funs of Espanyol in a 'private section' with many security guys around and the rest people- a bit less than 100 000 were funs of FC Barcelona. I paid for the ticket 60 euros which is quite common price when you go to see ordinary match here. I definitelly recommend it. The football stadium Camp Nou is the biggest in Europe.
