Visit from the Czech Republic aneb super cool week.

On monday one of my friends from the Czech Republic came to Barcelona for one week to visit me. I am gonna describe you a bit what we did but unfortunatelly I can´t tell you all funny stories because some things are just secret (only Lucka knows) like pan čepička for example or Ibiza se narodil na discotéce. Anyway we had really good time together.

On monday we went to the beach in Badalona. Lucka needed a bit of tan so. For sure this beach is much better than in Barcelona.

At ten we started to cook a dinner for us and my housemates. The food was spaghetti alla vongole e cozze by Míša. You can see the result below. Everybody said that it was good so I am not that bad in cooking as I thought. Thank God

On tuesday we were in the center of Barcelona because it was the last day of celebration (I am gonna write another article about this, don' t worry :-) However this picture is from the harbour.

I love this place in Barcelona.

On wednesday we decided to go to see Sagrada Familia and also the Parc Guell which is just amazing. I love this place very much.

On thursday we went to Montjuic. This place is very nice. There is a castle, some museums, olympic stadium etc. From the castle is amazing view, you have to go there. For a dinner I took Lucka to Neapolitan Pizzeria and then we got drunk a bit from Mojito for amazing price 3.5 euros in bar called Rosa Negra. Mojito here is quite strong, it is a big difference than mojito in the Czech Republic.

On friday it was very hot (like all the week) so basically we did nothing at the beach. We had to relax a bit before party.

There was a big erasmus party in club called Otto Zutz. The dress code was black & white. We enjoyed a lot because we came home at seven. I have to say that number of people there was around 1000 (In my city when I go to disco club it is like 100 (when it is a good day) :-) Before party we went to see Magical fontain (very comfortable in high heels).

Last day Lucka wanted to go to Montserrat. We were totally dead cause we slept only 3 hours and it was very cold there but anyway I am happy that we saw the place cause the Black Madonna and view is just amazing.

On sunday Lucka left.

Sunday in Costa Brava

I am sure that all of you have already heard about Costa Brava. Yesterday I went there with my friends. We had this opportunity to go because a trip was organized by erasmus agency and we paid only 25 euros. There were 2 buses and 105 people so :-)

First stop was in town called Empuriabrava. 
The city has around 40 km of canals, so the best way how to dicover it is by using boats. We didn' t need any special licence for driving the boat because it was very very very slow. I can say that this area is more or less for rich people. Almost every house has own boat and houses there are just amazing. Can you imagine to go to your house by boat instead of car? Yes, for sure I can do that.

 Second stop was in village called Cadaques. 
Cadaques is one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. It is also called the Pearl of Costa Brava. From my point of view it is nice but I wouldn' t say one of the best. Some of my friends said that it is like in Greece for me it was like Albufeira in Portugal.

 Anyway it was amazing trip and I have spend really nice sunday with my friends.

Fashion chronicle- from the beach: My ordinary day

 Today before my work I went to the beach. My housemates asked me to help them with taking some pictures so I was a model for a while. For me it was very nice experience because I like the photos afterwards. You will see some of them later on my blog. Are you looking forward to?

After beach I had to go to the work :( Well, somebody has to work,right? :) In fact I like my job,so it is ok. However I would prefer to stay at the beach. Don´t worry I will, on saturday :)

What did I do during the weekend

Today I wanna share with you my experiences from the weekend. This weekend was just great. On friday night I went with my housemates and my colleague Antoine to concert of Som Caliu. It is a band which sing the songs in spanish as well as in catalan.The entrance was 7 euros which is quite cheap here.

On saturday afternoon I went to the beach. It is like 15 minutes by walk from my house. It was a little bit windy but you could still swin in the sea.

Saturday night we went with my colleagues to Mochito club. They play there like salsa etc. I bought mochito for 10 euros. The thing is that this is normal price in the clubs in Barcelona. You can also find a place where you can buy mochito for like 3 euros but it is usually in some small bars which are not in the centre. The entrance to the club was around 14 euros, I am not sure because I went there for free.

 The party was good because I came home around 6 which is common here.
And finally on sunday I did nothing because the weather was shit.

Travelling and fashion

I love travelling as well as fashion. These are my two biggest loves. What I am trying to say?

My articles will be related to these topics. In terms of travelling I like eating local food so there is gonna be something about this as well. This summer I have visited Sicily which is consider as a best place in Italy for gourmets. 

In Portugal with my friends from Brazil,Belgium,Spain and Czech

Thus I have many experiences.

I also like meeting new people when I travel, discover new cultures etc. I have met lots of interesting people during my trips. I wanna share my experiences this with you, guys.

 About fashion. Well, if you know me well you have to know that I am a little bit crazy about fashion. The thing is that I love shopping (like all of us for sure). I travel a lot, that means that I have opportunities for buying things and brands which I can’t buy in the Czech Republic. I am always happy when I discover new fashion brand and not many people in my country have the same. Also the truth is that abroad the cloths and stuff are cheaper which is good.

Monday at work.

Ok, I know that today is Tuesday but this Tuesday at my work looks similar as on Monday. Why is that?

Well, se on wednesday 11.9.is a national day of Catalonia. That means that tonight for sure we will go out somewhere with my colleagues. And tomorrow there will be lots of events in Barcelona so I can`t wait. 

And for sure nobody will work as hard as usually if tomorrow we have a holiday.

 

Now, back to Monday. The thing is that on Monday is very hard to work in Spain. I think this is the same in all countries. People are still tired from the weekend and a bit upset they have to go to work. You know how it works: everybody hates Monday. 

What I like here is that if you come to work 5, 10 or 15 minutes later nothing will happen. Nobody will shout or ask you why the hell you are late (in Germany you would be fired already). It is good, right? In fact I don`t feel good if I come on time. So, I always come at least 5 minutes later.
And Monday also looks similar to Friday.

So, this week I will work hard let’s say on Thursday.

I have a blog.

Yes, I have decided also to create one. I am doing my second erasmus, this time in Barcelona. I have so many stories which I would like to share with you guys. That`s basically the reason why I am writing this blog. I hope you will enjoy it.

The name of my blog is Míša in Wonderland. Why? Well, I did not have lot of ideas how to name my blog so one of my colleagues Antoine (he is from Belgium) came with some ideas. Thanks, Antoine.

Another thing. Don`t worry I will not write in english all the time. The problem is that I am using a spanish keyboard right now.
